The year is 2021. Our protagonist is an investigative reporter in an unnamed city in the northern United States. A MYSTERIOUS TIPSTER (MT) calls and informs the player of a conspiracy undertaken by a local media conglomerate, the Harland Broadcast Corporation (HBC), and arranges a meeting in the building's underground parking lot. However, on arrival, they find only a van with a package containing cellular phone, a jumpsuit, and an employee ID. The phone rings. Looks like this meeting won't be face to face, or nearly as simple as it seemed...
